The style and design of this post was created with simple lines and bright colors in order to showcase a food-systems themed series of workshops organized by the Women, Food, and Agriculture Network (WFAN). I created this post as the communications and education director.

Berchta Botanicals Logo
As part of a long-line of agroecology iterations, I created this logo for a medicinal nursery, Berchta Botanicals. I purchased vectors and created this image. Key theme words: alpine goddess (Berchta), herbal botanicals, strength and softness.

Storybook Flower Farm Logo
The artist behind this logo is the incredibally talented Jessica Oldfield of Ollie Lou Designs.
I approached Jessica in 2019 with an idea for a beyond organic, cut-flower market garden which would also serve as a living rainbow for early-childhood literacy programs. We sat down and brainstormed ideas together and she created this gorgeous logo. Key theme words: whimsy, bright, cheery, and magic.

Aggregate, Inc. Logo
In 2022, I created Aggregate, Inc. as a fun project to both donate excess perennial, native nursery stock and to also create a living corridor of soil-building and pollinator serving plants on Colorado. I created this logo using Canva. Key theme words: soil, professional, earth, science, and calm.

I created this conference guide using Adobe InDesign and Canva - while serving as the conference director with WFAN. One of the highlights of my conference work was collaborating with advocacy artists and watching them create gorgeous, bespoke logos while supporting their important work. Refugia is a weekly bundle of created and curated content geared toward the unconventional nature-based solutions investor, the eco-curious reader, the conservation grant writer, and the wonder-filled child in us all - leaning in over so further and peering closer at the tide-pool of life.
As we take more items off the shelf for examination, expect this shape to grow and evolve in interesting and useful ways. We won’t shy away from the magic as we shine a bright light on the science behind it all.
